A simple stitched card tutorial...

Make this simple card to send to a friend with this message of hope! You'll need:

• thread
• card
• embroidery needle
• scissors
• PDF Print out

Start by printing out the template and cutting around the word so you can tape it centrally to the card. Use washi tape so it doesn’t mark the card. Then using your needle, punch holes through the paper and through the card at the top end of each of the diagonally lines that stretch across the letter.

Once you’ve punched all your holes, take the paper away a to reveal a pattern ready for you to stitch. It can sometimes be tricky to know which hole partners which so use your template for reference if needed. Tie knots at the back of the card with your thread when you’re finished!
