Winter Hoop Club Box Project Reveal
Let me introduce to you our Winter box project for Hoop Club, our quarterly embroidery subscription box! We'll be stitching this versatile table runner, that can suit any celebration you choose, we've styled it up for Christmas here but we wanted to make it inclusive and appropriate for those that may celebrate other winter festivals.
This project is similar to our Box 8 Hoop Club project from April 2021 which was really popular, and I'm really drawn to these simple designs that just take TIME rather than loads of skill. I feel like they can appeal to all levels of stitcher, what do you think?
The table runner is ready printed, so you are just stitching a running stitch over the guide marks and then hemming the edges, which are also printed on with guides to help you. You don't need a sewing machine for this project but if you did want to stitch the edges up with a machine that's obviously fine :) So as always this project is totally beginner friendly and we'll guide you through it with the video tutorial.
I've actually just realised that there are 25 bows to stitch so this could be a really lovely advent project, where you stitch one bow a day (two on one day, if you want a break on Christmas day!) It's a really lovely slow project that you don't have to think too much about and at the end of, you have a beautiful heirloom linen for you table and that you can pass down to future generations!
We'll be using a linen mix fabric to print onto which has such a lovely heavy feel to it, and a really smooth linen cotton thread to stitch with.
If you don't want to miss out on this box then sign up by the 15th November - we'll start shipping boxes hopefully soon after so you get this in plenty of time for the cosy pre-Christmas season. Find all the details on how to subscribe here whether that's a one off box (choose buy as gift) or a quarterly or annual subscription. If you can't wait to get stitching you can even choose to start with a previous box.
