Hoop Club Box 18 Preview

I'm giving you an early look at our February box a) because it's so good and I want to show you plus we're going to work slightly differently in the future with Hoop Club. We're going to make the projects you receive as part of your subscription much more exclusive, they won't automatically make it to the Cotton Clara shop. Which means if you see something you like, you'll need to go for it or miss it! We're also going to cap numbers each month to help us with our planning (I'm not the most organised person in the world!) So, we'll be letting you know when we're getting close to our cap. Subscriptions will close on the 15th of the month or sooner, if we reach the cap!

So, onto our February box. We're working with Natalie from Wonder & Rah this month. Natalie runs here business from the Dorset coast, and I've followed her journey for years via Instagram. There must be tens of thousands of rooms across the country adorned with one of Natalie's distinctive prints. I love Natalies use of colour, and the bold designs that just seem to be full of life. I also love how Natalie styles them in her beautiful home!

So we narrowed the collaboration kit down to this design, which just jumped out at me from Natalie's page. We've gone for a rainbow palette, but you could always stitch with your own threads and go for a more neutral group of colours? There's lots of inspiration on Natalie's Instagram.

This is the original design, so you can see the full colour range, as we're still stitching this sample! We're using a split back stitch for this one, which is a really easy stitch to pick up and works up to this smooth, silky textured look - which looks so much harder than it is to achieve.
