Hoop Club 15 Preview

I'm very happy to reveal that this month's designer is Amy from Cheese Before Bedtime! Amy's work is so unique, I've never seen anything like it, from the pared back colour scheme to her unusual and edgy choice of images to stitch. She has an illustration style that transfers to embroidery just so beautifully. Check out Amy's Instagram here and just soak up her portfolio of beautiful embroidery!

So here is the project we'll be stitching, the eagle eyed amongst you will notice that this hoop is not actually yet stitched, but we'll be stitching in black thread so this is how it will look! (I moved house this month so please forgive the sample not being quite ready yet!)

So we'll be using a combination of back stitch, long and short stitch (which we first stitched in the Grow Love kit earlier in the year) and some french knots if you fancy them! We'll be using 1 strand of thread for some of the images, so this one is all about learning to stitch delicately and accurately.
