Autumn Hoop Club Box Reveal

Our next Hoop Club designer is embroidery artist, Tessa Perlow. If you search 'embroidery' on Pinterest I can guarantee you you'll get multiple images of Tessa's work pop up. I'm sure it will look familiar to you. 

We've worked with Tessa to create a version of her work that we can all have a go at as our next project. It was seriously hard to narrow down Tessa's designs so we've gone for a little medley of designs based on a sampler (see below for the original piece).

As always the design is printed onto the fabric and we'll be stitching on top, so you always have a guide for your stitches. The design is stitched with a combination of satin stitch and straight stitch. Tessa has a way of stitching that's almost like painting, it's very free and you build up texture and shading with the thread. It's a joy to stitch, especially the big flower!

Not only do you get your hoop and fabric in the box, you'll also get a set of stick and stitch transfers to be able to stitch Tessa's designs onto whatever you like, maybe a jacket, or a bag?
