This is an extremely handy tool for unpicking stitches, whether you've made a mistake on an embroidery hoop and want to start again, or maybe you're trying something more challenging like adjusting the seam on a dress.
The seam ripper has an ergonomic plastic handle shaft and a forked head which is simply hooked underneath the stitches, followed by an upward action to cut the thread. The loose threads can then be removed by hand.
