Introducing our November Hoop Club Box...
I wanted to share a bit about the inspiration from behind our next Hoop Club Box. This is a snapshot of my initial inspiration. I am obsessed with Scandanavian Christmas cross stitch designs and this is where I started out and I actually designed a cross stitch advent calendar (took me ages!) BUT I started stitching it and realised it was going to take about ten years to complete so, I scrapped this at the last minute!
I still wanted to create a colourful advent wall hanging but one that was much simpler and quicker to make so that you could finish it for Christmas! I loved this idea of creating a hanging with small rings to tie on ribbons and then attach little gifts to them.

So, this is what I created! A very simple advent wall hanging, with 24 numbers to stitch in a rainbow of colours. It's printed on a pink stripe fabric and we're finishing it off with red ric rac. Included in the kit is the fabric, ric rac, all the thread you'll need, needle, brass rings and the wooden dowels that fit in the top and bottom of the hanging (and string to hang).

Hopefully this becomes something you get out year after year and enjoy prepping for Christmas. If you already have an advent tradition this could make a lovely gift for someone who is maybe spending their first Christmas in a new home?
