I spent last summer writing a book, Sister Gonna Stitch: 50 Feminist Embroidery Designs. I love that women over the years have used embroidery to express themselves and to protest, and we are still doing it today, the book builds on these traditions and gives modern women a chance to keep this tradition alive.
