I loved making this gift for a friend who plays Santa Claus for different events in his community every November/December. I was able to finish it in one day.
I have lots of leftover thread from other Cotton Clara kits, so I chose to use red instead of pink for the Santa suit. My kit came with brown thread instead of beige thread, so my Santa turned out a little darker than what was pictured on the box. I realized after I had already boxed it up to send to him that I only did half stitches in the middle of Santa's forehead. I think it gives him character and truly makes my gift unique!
