Who else rediscovered their love for the great outdoors during the last twelve months? I know me and my family did! We were so thankful for open green spaces, nature trails, and long stomps in the woods. Being able to get outdoors has been a respite from the monotony of lockdown life, and it’s what has inspired this new design.
Our collective love of the outdoors of course isn’t new - outdoor themed designs have always been popular - but this one feels like it captures a national mood at the moment.
Taking inspiration from some of my favourite vintage embroidery patterns, the design has a wonderful retro feel and comes in two colour ways; green with yellow thread and white with red.
It’s a really simple, beginner-friendly kit that requires just one simple back stitch to complete, making it the perfect kit to unwind with after a long day. Challenging enough to require your focus, enabling you to switch your mind off from other stresses, but not too challenging you can’t enjoy family time at the same time or completing it whilst the latest Netflix must-see plays in the background.
