This colourful kit is designed to be a kind of month long project in the run up to Christmas, stitch a letter a day in December, and maybe a couple more at the weekends and you'll have completed the whole thing by Christmas Day! Use it as a mindfulness tool for the busy Christmas period - or just stitch it all in one go!
We've gone for slightly non traditional colours as is our way here, so there are pops of neon and all the favourites, mustard, mint green etc. We've popped a green gingham ribbon in to hang it though as a nod to more traditional colours!
The hoop measures 20cm and everything you need is included in the kit. Cream aida, all the coloured threads you need and more to account for any mistakes, needle, hoop, backing disc, wadding and ribbon.
We've improved our cross stitch instructions and included a large scale pattern so it's much easier to stitch the design. Remember that cross stitch kits don't come with the pattern printed onto them, you build up the pattern onto the fabric using the guide, with your stitches.
As always the kit will be packaged in our signature striped box, so this would make a perfect gift.
Cross stitch kit for beginners
We would describe this kit as suitable for a confident beginner. It's very simple, but we have kits that are more suitable for those who have never embroidered before. This one is great if you've tried cross stitch before and want to try a more complex design and use more colours, it's also great for experienced stitchers who know how relaxing cross stitch can be.

I have so loved stitching this kit. I started it on the first of December as an advent project but I enjoyed it so much that I have finished already (it's the 7th). The colours are lovely and bright with some that I don't usually choose myself. I would recommend this kit to anybody as you just stitch one letter at a time and it builds up so quickly (especially if you stay up a bit late to "just finish one more!").
