Easy to follow template, great for people new to the hobby. Only recommendation would to be to include the colour codes in the diagram as well as how many strands to use. I would have been lost if I hadn’t have joined the Facebook group! Would make it much easier if it was all just in one place and on one diagram. But love it - something I a bit different to what I would usually do!

The punch needle box was quite tricky. I have done it before, although I lost the technique at one point - no idea why. Managed to get into the rhythm again, though, and end result looks quite nice. Keep up the good work - love getting novel crafts each time. Not samey like some other subscriptions.

I've wanted to give punch needle a try for quite some time, so this box was the perfect introduction to it. The videos coming with the box are fundamental, since my first attempt with only the booklet was not great. It's a craft that needs practice, so I am still experimenting with it, but fab to have the opportunity. I've bought an extra box for a friend's birthday since she likes punch needle and has done it already and the design is super cute I am sure she'll love it!

I didn't think it was as good quality as others. The hoop was flimsy and the fabric was very synthetic which made it hard to work with. The wool choice was gorgeous though and the design. I switched to a natural linen fabric and used UHU glue to stick it down and I am ultimately very happy with my coasters!

Slow start but once you get into a rhythm it's really fun

The material kept fraying Some of the wool did as expected and other bits just pulled out. Felt like either wool or fabric was no right for the job. X

Nicely curated kits that so much thought has been put in. Support for every kit has been brilliant and it has been easy to skip boxes that didn't suit me.

Delivery was late but was kept informed of when delivery would come. Punch needle project- A great project and clear instructions from you tube video. interesting project and good quality products for the project

Nice product but really expensive for what you get.

Though this last box was a little late, we were constantly informed of the situation by email and Facebook. The punch needle kit is exciting and something new, though I’m struggling at the moment! Once I fell more confident then I shall post a picture.

Disappointed with the craft box

Wasn’t quite what I was hoping for but it made the perfect gift for a friend who loved it. I would have liked the hoop to be wooden rather than plastic. My friend is going to do this activity on her caravan holiday so it’s perfect for her. It will be her first attempt with embroidery so it’s perfect. I did cancel my subscription though as the quality of the hoop put me off. I would suggest this to other people as a great craft subscription though. The box was well stocked but personally I do t think the snack is required.

The Cotton Clara punch needle kit is lovely. The kit has everything you need to make four punch needle coasters and extra fabric to practice on. The instruction booklet is really good with detailed descriptions and pictures and the accompanying videos are really helpful too. A great kit and really good value for money.

This is only my first order, and I'm sure there are some lovely projects in the subscription. But this one just put me off I'm afraid. I felt the items were poor quality, with the exception of the material, which was lovely. And no matter how I tried I could not get the stitches to form consistently. So I've cancelled my membership. This is only a review of this item, not the subscription as a whole.

I joined cotton Clara, to beat boredom and stop mindless snacking . I was drawn to this subscription because of the variety of projects that I might not try otherwise. My first project was punch needle embroidery, I have wanted to try this for a while. It has been a challenge to master, however the the support and tutorials have been amazing. I also bought the cheetah embroidery kit from a past project (which I ) as a one off, it's proudly hanging on the wall. Can't wait to see what the next project will be.

The turtioals and everything included in the kits have been superb.

I have to admit that not being a seasoned embroiderer I found the heart quite fiddly and difficult so I'm afraid I've put it to one side. I think I would have preferred something more traditional and a little easier and something more pictorial...if you know what I mean!

Love my subscription. Great quality materials. Fairly easy to follow instructions. However I suggest a QR code that would open up video instructions. I say this as I suffer from anxiety and reading instructions can feel overwhelming…. Visual instructions are easier to follow

Always such a wonderful day when the box from cotton Clara drops through the letter box. Feels like Christmas! It’s stops the mindless phone scrolling every evening. I look forward to putting the kids to bed, making a cup of tea and learning a new skill. It’s completely mind consuming in such a wonderful way and this gives my brain time to switch off from the daily juggle.

Great hoop club project and the you tube tutorial is just great.

I love Hoop club. It gets me out of my comfort zone and try new things, it’s not just embroidery. It has introduced me to certain crafting genres that I’ve then become hooked on…most recently goldwork. It really is a lovely way to treat yourself to some mindfulness and the quarterly subscription is just the right amount.
